We specialize in serving Veterans by reducing wait times for disability screens and separation health assessments required by the Veterans Affairs (VA) to receive benefits. This includes pre-employment screenings, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and other health assessments that support a wide range of government agencies.Certified/Registered Medical Assistants (CMA/RMA) – Join Our Team!We're looking for a reliable and compassionate MA to support our team in providing excellent care for Veterans and patients. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve while working in a collaborative and rewarding environment.Key Responsibilities:Greet Veterans warmly and ensure smooth office flowMeasure and record vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate)Document Veteran information in the electronic health record(EHR)Inventory oversight: stock and organize all clinic equipment and suppliesAssist with all aspects of scheduling, check-in and check-out procedures for VeteransCompetently perform EKG, Pulmonary Function Tests, ABIs and collect/process lab specimensResponsible for maintaining all aspects of a clean, organized clinic environmentAttend meetings, workshops, and trainingsEnsure exam rooms are appropriately stocked with necessary supplies and materialsDuties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCurrent/Active MA certification/diploma in the state of employmentBLS certification requiredA team player who can communicate effectivelyAbility to multi-taskProficient in the use of computers, along with Microsoft Teams and OutlookCompassionate, professional, professional with a strong attendance record401 (k)Full-Time benefits: Dental, Health, Vision, Life insurance, Paid time off, 6 Paid HolidaysJob trainingReferral Bonus when recruiting new staffWork Schedule:Monday-FridayWork Location: In-personThis job description provides a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements for the role.
