Specialized experience includes serving as logistical supportfor contingency exercises and deployment planning. This position will also be responsible to manage the War Reserve Material (WRM) program. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.IDEAL CANDIDATE: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or business. Ability to analyze logistics data, identify inefficiencies and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:1. Knowledge and skill in the application of DoD, Joint and AF logistics planning principles, concepts, anddirectives as they pertain to deployment operations, war reserve materiel, base reception, and supportagreements.2. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.3. Ability to plan, organize, and direct.4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.5. Knowledge and skill to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, devise solutions to problems andidentify changes and trends.6. Knowledge of organizational structure and functions of activities involved in providing logistical support.PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
