divh2Estimator Position/h2pOur client is seeking an experienced Estimator. This role is crucial for the accurate financial and resource planning of our projects. Candidates with over 5 years of multifamily construction estimating experience in South Florida and previous general contractor roles are highly preferred./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliCoordinate and assist in managing bid packages and invitations to bid (ITB) using Procore./liliSolicit bids from qualified subcontractors, suppliers, and professionals to ensure comprehensive and competitive estimates./liliAnalyze project documents such as specifications, blueprints, and proposals to fully understand the scope and requirements of projects./liliPerform detailed quantity takeoffs and generate precise estimation reports using estimation software./liliReview and analyze subcontractor bids, perform risk assessments, and ensure bid alignment with project specifications./liliDevelop accurate line-item budgets for construction projects and ensure strict adherence to schedules./liliPrepare and organize bid proposals, ensuring all project categories are addressed./liliInterpret soils and engineering reports to assess cost implications and project scope adjustments./liliAssist in the distribution of project plans and specifications to subcontractors for bidding./liliManage communication and relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and the internal team effectively./liliContribute to budgeting and value engineering processes for project optimizations./liliCreate comprehensive scopes of work and buy-out packages for subcontract awards./li/ulh3Required Experience and Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent; degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred./liliMinimum of 5 years experience in estimating, with a focus on multi-family residential construction./liliProficiency in construction management software and understanding of construction terminology./liliFamiliarity with Contractor Specification Institute (CSI) codes./liliNotary certification preferred but not required./liliValid drivers license and reliable transportation./liliBilingual abilities are a plus./li/ulh3Key Qualifications:/h3ulliSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative./liliStrong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and operational focus./liliExcellent organizational skills with the capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously./liliProfessional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish credibility across the organization./li/ul/div
