We're assisting a well-funded, profitable startup with their search for forward deployed engineers. This startup acquires mission-critical software companies and accelerates their growth with their in-house engineering and go-to-market resources. They're hiring multiple engineers in this capacity to work on a hybrid schedule in their SF or Toronto offices.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate closely with portfolio companies to understand their unique challenges and objectives.
• Analyze, design, and implement innovative solutions across various technology stacks to drive business outcomes.
• Build and implement technology-led value creation playbooks and shared services (payment processing, SEO, sales and GTM tooling) for portfolio companies
• Utilize AI coding tools to accelerate your development processes and enhance product offerings
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams within portfolio companies

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with a track record of delivering impactful solutions across various technologies.
• Previous high-growth tech startup experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Strong full stack engineering fundamentals - ability to work both frontend (35%) and backend.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and experience with AI coding tools.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
