ADP Implementation Project Manager (Fully Remote)

Overview

Fully Remote! We are seeking an experienced ADP Implementation Project Manager to lead the transition from UKG and ADP GlobalView to ADP's target platform. This role owns the end to end implementation and serves as the central point of coordination between internal stakeholders, ADP implementation teams, and third party vendors. The ideal candidate brings deep payroll and HRIS implementation experience, strong project management discipline, and the ability to manage complex data, timelines, and cross functional dependencies in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Implementation & Project Management

  • Lead the full lifecycle ADP implementation from planning and discovery through go live and post implementation stabilization
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, ADP implementation consultants, and external vendors
  • Ensure project scope, deliverables, and timelines are clearly defined and met

System Transition & Data Management

  • Manage the transition from UKG and ADP GlobalView, including system decommissioning planning
  • Oversee payroll, HR, benefits, and employee data extraction, mapping, validation, and migration
  • Coordinate parallel payroll testing, UAT, and validation cycles to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies, integration issues, and system gaps

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Partner closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, and Benefits teams to gather requirements and align on processes
  • Facilitate working sessions, status meetings, and executive updates
  • Drive decision making and issue resolution to keep the project moving forward
  • Support change management efforts, including documentation, training coordination, and end user readiness

Testing, Go Live & Stabilization

  • Oversee configuration reviews, system testing, and end to end payroll validation
  • Coordinate cutover activities and go live readiness
  • Provide post go live support to ensure stabilization, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure implementation aligns with payroll compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements
  • Document processes, configurations, and key decisions for future reference and audits
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of HRIS or payroll implementation project management experience
  • Hands on experience leading ADP implementations (required)
  • Prior experience transitioning to ADP (strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, benefits administration, and HR data flows
  • Proven experience managing data migrations, parallel testing, and system integrations
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a complex environment
Nice to Have
  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Experience with global payroll implementations
  • Prior consulting or contract based implementation experience
