Customer Success Manager (IT Saas)

Description:

Oxford Solutions is partnering with a growing data technology organization to hire a Customer Success Manager for a direct-hire, hybrid role. This position is focused on long-term customer relationships, account retention, and revenue growth within existing accounts rather than new logo sales.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in post-sale ownership - building trust, understanding customer needs at a deep level, and proactively identifying opportunities to expand value through upselling and cross-selling.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing customers after the initial sale
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer goals, usage patterns, and business challenges
  • Proactively identify expansion opportunities through upselling and cross-selling
  • Partner with internal teams including Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Support to resolve issues and drive outcomes
  • Monitor account health, retention risk, and growth potential using customer data and performance metrics
  • Conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning conversations with customers
  • Advocate for customer needs internally while balancing business objectives
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success within SaaS, data, or technology environments
  • Proven success retaining and expanding existing customer accounts
  • Experience using Salesforce or HubSpot; Zendesk experience strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret usage data, trends, and performance metrics
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, strategic mindset with a strong sense of ownership over assigned accounts
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally to solve problems and deliver value
