MMI currently has an opening for a Bilingual Credit Counselor. This position is full-time work from home in the state of Texas.

What will you do as a Credit Counselor?

At MMI, our Credit Counselors work with individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. After completing a full budget analysis, the Counselor makes suggestions to move them forward to financial success and independence. Counseling sessions take place via the phone in our virtual call center as well as online via web chat.

Individuals with strong backgrounds in customer service and sales in a call center setting are encouraged to apply. Financial Services experience a plus! We provide full training including obtaining the certifications needed for the job.

Shift Requirements: Shift will be within the range of 7am to 7pm Central Time. One weekend day included.

Salary: $18.09-$21/Hour; based on experience including any prior credit counseling.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Able to use empathy working with people experiencing emotional distress
• Able to utilize motivational techniques to help clients move forward in the direction that is best for their circumstances
• Ability to work independently in a telework environment
• Technical skills needed to maintain your home office and utilize on-line tools to work efficiently in your role.
