Description

We are looking to hire a part-time Runner to support the firm with essential administrative and courier tasks. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of the firm by handling document deliveries, assisting with meetings, and performing various office support duties.

Essential Functions:

• Courier Services: Complete accurate and timely pick-ups and deliveries for attorneys and the Firm (mileage reimbursed);
• Mail & Package Handling: Sort, distribute, and process U.S. mail, UPS, and FedEx packages;
• Meeting & Event Support: Assist with setup and cleanup for client meetings and Firm events;
• Document Management: Assist with copy and scanning projects as needed;
• Reception Coverage: Serve as a backup for the receptionist as needed;
• Special Projects: Perform various tasks and projects to support the Firm's operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred;
• Clean driving record, valid driver's license, liability insurance, and a working automobile;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to performs hand deliveries, pick-ups or tasks within a reasonable walking distance of the firm.
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to retrieve and distribute files, written documents or office supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and ability to retrieve and replace objects from shelves of up to 8 feet high.
• Ability to sort and organize supply inventory. Ability to operate, maintain and stock office supplies.
