Everstaff is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to support bodily injury and negligence defense matters for a well-established organization.

This role offers the opportunity to independently manage cases from inception throughresolution while working closely with internal legal and claims teams in a collaborative, results-driven environment.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000

Schedule: M-F, 8-5

Location: Onsite/Hybrid position in Princeton, NJ

Essential Job Functions

• Partner with internal legal counsel and claims professionals to develop and execute litigation strategy, including trial preparation, expense management, and case resolution
• Independently manage a caseload of auto bodily injury and negligence matters from inception through trial or settlement
• Plan, prepare for, take, and defend depositions
• Draft, review, and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Evaluate assigned cases and provide detailed legal analysis in accordance with internal litigation guidelines and procedures
• Collaborate with insureds and claims representatives to establish and execute litigation objectives focused on efficient and timely claim resolution
• Attend motion hearings, arbitration hearings, mediations, and other pre-trial proceedings
• Prepare for and conduct trials, including witness preparation and courtroom advocacy
• Draft and argue post-trial motions and appellate briefs, as needed
• Negotiate high-level settlements and provide strategic recommendations on case outcomes

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling auto bodily injury and negligence litigation
• Demonstrated experience independently managing a full litigation caseload from beginning to end
• Auto defense trial experience is required
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues, think critically, and resolve matters efficiently
• Collaborative work style with a demonstrated commitment to meeting individual and team objectives
• Comfortable navigating multiple legal and claims systems; technologically adaptable

Education & Licensure

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar and in good standing
• Admission to Pennsylvania and/or New York preferred
