Job SummaryThe role of a server is to serve all guests and/or members and take care of their needs and requests as it pertains to their dining experience. You are also responsible for bringing the guest and/or members incredible customer service by menu and product knowledge, completing correct orders, timely/friendly service, and anticipating and accommodating any and all of the guests and/or members needs.Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions* Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction as well as company standards; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen* Serves food and beverages to guests as per the restaurant's standards in a friendly, timely and efficient manner* Ensure that the guests have a pleasant dining experience* Obtain complete knowledge about ingredients, flavors and suggestions about menu items* Inform guests about special items for the day and menu changes* Take food and beverage orders* Collect plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals* Obtain revenues, issue receipts, accept payments* Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor* Complete pre-shift and post-shift duties including setup and teardown of certain stations* All other duties as assigned
