As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Patrol in Crestview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will perform routine patrols, provide clear communication, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns within the aerospace and defense environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when necessary.
- Assist with implementing emergency protocols and providing guidance to individuals during emergency situations within the location.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- One or more of the following is required: 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
