Job Description:
The Coordinator of Weld Testing is directly accountable to the Director of Skilled Trades for the following duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Schedule AWS weld testing for the Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) Accredited Test Facility (ATF).
* Conduct weld testing for the ATF in accordance with NWFSC ATF procedures.
* Follow all AWS standards and codes associated with the ATF.
* Maintain ATF records and inventory.
* Ensure measuring and welding equipment is maintained and calibrated in accordance with AWS standards.
* Complete annual mandatory compliance training.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director, Dean of Workforce Education, or the Vice President of Academic Affairs
Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Current CWI with WPQ1 endorsement.
* Verifiable weld test experience.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
