Job Title: Stock Associate

Reports To: Director of HarborWalk Village General Store

Summary: HarborWalk Village offers waterfront shopping, boat, pontoon and jet ski rentals, world class fishing, aqua adventures, dolphin cruises, clubs and nightlife, weekly fireworks, seasonal festivals, live entertainment, and a variety of restaurants.

The Stock Associate will successfully complete all assigned responsibilities related to the smooth operation of the General Store and promote an overall 'Legendary' image. This role also supports the Marina docks team as needed. This role contributes to the guest experience by enhancing the appearance of every area of the General Store and docks while providing 'Legendary' guest service to every visitor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet all General Store and Marina guests promptly
  • Provide elevated guest service through uplifting communication & engagement.
  • Execute all tasks assigned/related to the inventory life cycle (processing new shipment, tagging, markdowns, etc.)
  • Support in maintaining all store visual merchandising presentations
  • Follow all safety and compliance regulations, with daily inspections to ensure safe conditions.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workplace to include all equipment and areas outside and in store.
  • Demonstrate teamwork through collaboration and clear communication
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures for the General Store and Marina
  • Operate the POS system
  • Other duties as assigned as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
  • Able to promote team partnership with all departments to ensure our guests have a seamless experience while at the General Store and Marina
  • Efficiently provide excellent customer service.
  • Previous knowledge of boats, watersports, marina operations a plus.
  • Previous cash register experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Multitasking
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in customer service preferred.
  • Boating/fishing experience preferred

Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Availability

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

License Requirements

Valid driver's license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
