Performs custodial tasks for assigned county facilities; provides county staff and the public with safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient places in which to work and conduct business. The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm (during season Mar 2 to Nov 1) 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (off season Nov 2 to Mar 1). EXAMPLES OF WORK - Performs custodial tasks (i.e., emptying and cleaning waste receptacles; mopping, stripping, waxing and buffing floors, shampooing carpets, washing windows; dusting furniture; cleaning vents, fans and walls; sanitizing restrooms and kitchen facilities). - Uses electrical cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, shampoo machines, high-speed buffers). - Uses appropriate chemicals and cleaners safely and productively according to instructions to ensure personal, public, and staff safety. - Ensures assigned area is properly opened daily and secured upon completion of daily tasks (i.e., locking doors and windows, turnin...Custodian, Cleaning, Property Management, Window, Equipment
