Job Title: Workday Business Systems Analyst
Contract Length: 6+ months
Location: Remote (U.S. Only)
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens only

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Business Systems Analysts with a strong background in reporting and data archiving/purging. This is a fully remote contract role.
The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and optimizing Workday reports and analytics, while also implementing data management strategies that ensure retention, compliance, and system efficiency.

Primary Skill:

• Workday Reporting & Analytics
• Level: Advanced (6 years of experience)

Responsibilities:
Workday Reporting

• Build and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics in Workday
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into reporting solutions
• Refine and optimize existing reports for accuracy and performance
• Ensure integrity across all data outputs
• Provide guidance and training on Workday reporting features

Data Archiving and Purging

• Define and implement data archiving and purge processes
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Conduct audits to validate archived and purged data
• Partner with IT and compliance teams to execute data lifecycle strategies
• Resolve system issues related to data retention processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of Workday experience, including reporting and data lifecycle management
• Expertise in Workday reporting tools (advanced, matrix, composite reports)
• Familiarity with Workday data structures and security protocols
• Demonstrated experience with data archiving and purging best practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Workday certifications in Reporting or Data Management (preferred)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in aerospace or defense industries
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks
• Project management capabilities
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities independently
