Logistics Analyst

Description:

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking to hire a customer-facing Logistics Analyst to provide sustainment and obsolescence management support on a number of ground-based radar systems in support of our Advanced Component Obsolescence Management (AVCOM) engineering service. A successful candidate will be able to problem solve, work with multiple sources of data and formulate solutions to key Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues. They should have a strong background in data analytics, customer support and product sustainment. This position will serve as a key interface and primary representative between BAE Systems (AVCOM) and the L3 Harris Supply Support Integrated Product Team (SSIPT).

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conduct supportability analyses and prepare Supply Supportability Analysis Reports (SSAR)
  • Support the Supply Support Integrated Product Team (SSIPT) activities and meetings
  • Provide updates to the Logistics Data and Analysis tool (SENSAT) with applicable updates from the AVCOM obsolescence data
  • Develop, deliver, and conduct applicable AVCOM obsolescence tool training to customers
  • Evaluate maintenance and demand data to update sparing profile and DMSMS issues
  • Provides customers with AVCOM Case Data Management reviews to provide recommendations and item disposition as it relates to DMSMS
  • Perform detailed information searches, correlation and interpretation of technical data and engineering drawings
  • Supports project and ILS meetings
  • Evaluate maintenance and demand data to update sparing profile and DMSMS issues
  • Provide analysis in support of identifying obsolescence issues for mission critical spares to establish a two-year pipeline
  • Coordinate with RAM engineering team for MTBF data
  • Assists Component Engineers and Project Managers in developing program metrics and risk analysis reports to customer requirements
#ASFS Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree with 1 year of Obsolescence Management experience OR Associate's degree with 2 years of Obsolescence Management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with Air Force Technical Orders, engineering drawings, Bill of Material configuration management, manufacturer datasheets, obsolescence management tools and processes
  • Experience with configuration, logistics and/or obsolescence management tools such as: Haystack; FEDLOG; MEDALS; GIDEP; ILSmart and/or AVCOM


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66400 - $112880

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
