Summary

The General Superintendent reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with Trade Managers, Foremen, Project Managers, BIM, and other construction team members. The role involves monitoring, tracking, and managing the field team to start and finish projects in compliance with company processes. The role also requires oversight on challenging projects and mechanical and plumbing trade knowledge.

Requirements and Experience

• Plan and supervise all CES trade activities, including construction methods, manpower, materials, equipment, work schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate work with trades, departments, and subcontractors.
• Monitor and track project start and finish plans.
• Assist in completing project plans and solving project challenges.
• Provide input on construction practices.
• Attend meetings and evaluate personnel performance.
• Forecast manpower needs and document scope changes.
• Prepare estimates for contract changes.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and insurability required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of mechanical and plumbing supervision experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
• Familiarity with plumbing and mechanical codes.
• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary or apprenticeship training preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and insurability required.
• Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
