Overv"ew of the Senior Accountant Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and posting journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash transactions.
• Assisted with budget variances and provided financial insights.
• Reviewing and analyzing general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets for accurate financial reporting.
• Assisting in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Preparing monthly pay applications/billing and identifying areas for process improvement.
• Supporting both internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's in Accounting.
• Three years of public accounting experience or six years of general ledger accounting experience.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Job costing and construction accounting experience are preferred.
